This is a first study on user personas for the music industry which was based on:

User personas

User personas are an attempt at synthesizing the vast amount of possible users a service may target, in a small number of ideal users for the customer journey maps.

The attempt is to try and cover all relevant traits and cases we are mostly interested in focusing on. Please note that personas are a fundamental part of user journey maps, as visualizing an actual human being, rather than a series of requirements and functionalities, helps us empathize with all the other rational/irrational components of a person.

What came out from this activity is that a much greater study should be done on personas and, mostly, their potential workflow based on different roles in the industry, so this should be considered as a very first step.
